High Five for Friday

Linking up with Lauren again for another H54F.  Here are the great things about my week.  You should wander to her blog and read the fun things other people loved this week.

1.  Birthday Lunch with Mack at the Purple Cow.  Do you know what a Purple Cow is?  Well, other than the name of the restaurant we went to on Monday, it's also like a Root Beer float only with grape soda and purple tinted vanilla ice cream.  I kinda loved it.  (and apparently so did Mack!)

2.  I tried the controlled burn thing on my desk this week...including my bulletin board.  I cleared the entire space and started over from scratch!  I decided to go for something totally different so I covered the whole bulletin board, and both the little boards on the sides, with scrapbook paper.  It was a really easy and cheap way to completely change the look of this whole side of the room.  I love it.  It makes me so happy to wake up in the morning and see this space.
3.  Progress...I know I'm agonizingly SLOW at this gallery wall, but it's getting there.  Here are the first set of frames that are going up the stairs, and the first few pictures.  Baby steps...

5.  Here's my guilty pleasure of the week...and here's what happens when you leave me unattended with the TV for too many hours.  I found this on Lifetime right after Dance Moms one night.  (yep...I watch that one, too...apparently I have a couple of guilty pleasures.)  I've only watched one episode, but this show is seriously hysterical.  I don't think they intended for it to be hysterical, but that's what I thought when I watched it.  Hysterical in a pitiful, pathetic, moronic sort of way...which makes for totally entertaining reality television, doesn't it?
