High Five for Friday

1.  Song of the Week:  Santeria by Sublime  Loved this cover from the Voice this week!

2.  No school on Monday!  After Institute, Flowering Buttercup and I went to Jamba Juice and then went shopping so she could finally use her birthday gift cards.  (We did not get the sweaters.  But we did happen to pick up the exact same one and try it on at the exact same time.  So we got a cute picture of us as twins.)
3.  Spell Girl had an orchestra concert on Tuesday night.  She spent all of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday curled up in a small heap on the couch with a sore throat and a fever.  But she didn't want to miss the concert, so she dragged herself out of bed.  I can't get over how seriously great these concerts are and how talented these kids are!  The Chamber group that SG is in did an amazing job.  I wish they had played longer!
4.  More great 70s music.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this station and satellite radio and the 70s??  Well, I do!  I am always so surprised when they play something that I haven't heard in 30 years and it brings back floods of memories.  And I knew all the words to this one, too!  I miss Andy Gibb...
5.  Friday Night Football (Allen @ Plano East)

Hope you have a great weekend!!
