I spent most of yesterday finishing this book. Once again, my friend Amy recommended something amazing. Instead of plowing through the 850 pages ahead of me in 11/22/63, I decided to go for the shorter, easier read, and I'm so glad I did. This is a totally uplifting, beautiful book about friendship and growing up and trying hard to do better.
I've handed it off to Spell Girl now because she's between good books and she'll fly through it in a day or two. I'm so grateful for the inspiration that comes from great books. There are little treasures everywhere. And I love that being in this book was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
